As an Extended Essay (EE) Coordinator and Examiner for 8 years, I've developed a deep understanding of the research process. As the founder of the Librarian Association, I empower librarians through upskilling initiatives. My passion lies in teaching research skills to MYP and DP students, and mentoring them through the Extended Essay journey, helping them achieve academic excellence.

Ketki Bedekar with over 23 years of combined library experience, including 8 years as a dedicated teacher librarian, she cultivates a vibrant reading culture. Her passion extends to organizing engaging events for the school community and exploring diverse technological applications. A core member of the Librarian Association, she champions knowledge sharing and empowerment. Indian literature holds a special place in her heart. Beyond the library, she enjoys travel, culinary exploration, and cooking. Recently, she has developed a keen interest in AI. Using her Speech Therapist's background,she ensures that her school libraries are inclusive. She has been an 'Art Docent' facilitating art in primary classrooms.She is the recipient of the Bandana Sen Awards for exemplary school librarians and several awards for promoting reading for the schools she has been with.She has built from scratch 6 school libraries curating and setting up library spaces for CBSE,IB and international curriculum schools.She loves to share her work and learn from her fellow librarians especially through the Library Matters program.

A passionate advocate for innovative library practices, she has conducted workshops and hands-on sessions for fellow librarians on leveraging AI tools and creative library activities in Lucknow and Delhi. An avid reader herself, Monica is dedicated to fostering a love for reading and learning in students and colleagues alike.

Amrita Kiwlekar Jain is a former writer for Times of India & an accidental librarian on a revolution to revamp India’s traditional school library rooms into fully-functional & dynamic reading spaces. Pursuing degrees B.E & M.Ed in innovative education from EIU along with a Diploma in Business Entrepreneurship from IIM Banglore, she founded a one of its kind company 'Libtopia - Future Libraries', currently running 3 school & 2 NGO libraries. She believes being a librarian our species must read the most; hence between her voracious reading routines, she loves sharing in the Library Matters community her experience & expertise in building brand new libraries to offering a to z library solutions; right from designing interactive reading spaces to crafting dedicated reading & writing curriculum; from building hand-curated books collection to training librarians passionately. Maruska Desouza is an IB Teacher-Librarian and a Core Team Member of the Read Bloom Books online publishing platform, bringing a rich and diverse professional background to her work. Her career journey spans multiple industries and continents—from working in the software industry both in India and abroad, to serving on the PTA Board during her children's school years in California, and later taking on the role of a librarian there. Passionate about education and literacy, she has shared her insights as a presenter at numerous conferences and conclaves. As a writer, her work has been featured on the IBO website where she has highlighted Read Bloom Books—as well as in newspapers and on the Liferarian blog. Today, Maruska continues to thrive at the intersection of education and librarianship, always driven by curiosity and a deep love for learning.

Ms. Usha Ramu, with a passion for books, storytelling, and teaching, strives to make the library a vibrant and inspiring space for all learners. She works with enthusiasm, supporting students ensuring that every child finds joy in reading and develops essential 21st-century skills.

Her key focus lies in nurturing a love for literature, enhancing students LSRW (Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing) skills, and embedding research skills and academic integrity into the learning process. She believes that libraries are not just repositories of books, but dynamic spaces where curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking thrive.

In recognition of her dedication and contributions, Ms. Usha was honoured with the Best Woman Librarian Award in 2019 by the Madras Library Association. Through interactive storytelling sessions, engaging reading programmes, and structured research skill development, Ms. Usha helps students become confident, balanced, and lifelong learners. Her vision is to create an environment where every step into the library sparks curiosity, discovery, and a love for knowledge.

Deepa Chettri is a dedicated professional with a double master's degree, including an MLIS, and over 16 years of experience across CBSE, ICSE, CIE, and IB curricula. Currently serving as a Secondary School Teacher Librarian at an IB World School, she has managed libraries from Early Years to the Diploma Programme—shifting effortlessly from storytelling to leading research and literacy sessions.

Passionate about academic integrity, research skills, and information literacy, she guides students to think critically, cite responsibly, and use information ethically. She also fosters a love for reading through activities, author talks, and challenges.

In addition to her librarian role, she has been Extended Essay In-charge and currently oversees the Personal Project. IB-trained in PYP, MYP, and DP, she has attended key workshops including IB Educator Workshop (Role of a Librarian) and PYP Concept-Driven Learning.
