Sameer Arora is a natural leader, a collaborator and an educator with over 24 years of school experience not limited to teaching across all levels of school i.e. upper primary, middle and senior secondary; integrating pedagogical innovations in curriculum, fostering partnerships with educational organizations, individuals, experts and members of the community, school administration, resource management and communication, in a journey that has spanned cities, schools, educational enterprises and organizations. He has experience of two establishing two travel-based start- ups offering experiential education programmesto the youth and has travelled over 20 countries. He firmly believes travel is the best form of education.

He has also worked with National Geographic Channel for one of their education programmes Unlock-Hour as country head. He has volunteered with many organizations and have been awarded for his distinguished services to Asian Regional Space Settlement Design Competition and Duke of Edinburgh Award. Of all the projects he has been involved in, conceptualizing and serving asfestival director for SAANJH- Amritsar Lahore peace festival is one of his most favourite associations. He was focusing initiating sustainable peace dialogue with youth in both countries, and reached out to more than30,000 children, youth and artists across borders.

He has also been awarded Claes Nobel Educator of Distinction for excellence in teaching and encouragement of and dedication to the academic success of students, National Society of High School Scholars, USA. He is recently awarded “Inspirational Educator Award” by International Alliance of Counselors & Educators. In his last assignment he was serving in Legacy School Bangalore as Vice Principal and supports Career Counselling department too. He was nominated for “Counsellor of the Year Award” and under his leadership Legacy School Bangalore was bestowed upon “School of the Year Transformative Counseling Award” by IC3 Movement

As a prolific speaker and passionate educator, he has been invited on multiple platforms by ed-tech companies, higher-ed institutes and trade governments to express his opinion and share his expertise with the larger community. He recently addressed international educators community in “Shaping the Futures Conference” organized by MindCET Innovation Tech Centre along with educational stalwarts from around the globe including Lasse Leponiemi from Hundred. He continues to volunteer his time with Hundred to review educational innovations and with RISE (SCHMIDT Foundation and Rhodes Trust) to review youth projects.
