Liferarians are a passionate community of Indian Librarians who believe in empowering and leveraging the role of a librarian in an educational organization. Liferarians believe in collaboration to promote and implement innovative practices through new developments in education and knowledge realms.

The purpose is to support librarians who desire to pursue contemporary strategies and ideas to stay current and relevant. We believe consistent collaboration can enable us to provide better library services, build a relevant collection, integrate and leverage technology to help learners. This Liferarian logo signifies an individual's aspiration to blossom through lifelong learning and spread the fragrance of knowledge to others.

Dr. Shabbi Luthra

CEO of Consilience Learning

Dr. Shabbi Luthra has worked for over three decades in various teaching and leadership roles in the field of educational technology and innovation leadership in international schools. Her expertise includes envisioning, deploying and providing guidance in the areas of technology integration programs, staff development, building technology leadership at all levels of a school, and innovation leadership and management in schools and organizations. Her work is focused on the development of stakeholder ownership, and on the creation of learning environments that support students acquisition of skills for their future.

Ms. Parveen Shaikh

Principal of The Somaiya School

Ms. Parveen Shaikh is an established professional in the field of education and child development for over two decades. Her passion leads her to constantly innovate and conceptualize ideas from preschool, to secondary school learning. Her expertise lies in professional development of pre-service and in-service teachers. She has been engaged in school audits, start-ups and school support for improvement and up-gradation. A strong advocate for librarians and their work. She was awarded “School Leader of the Year” by Leadership Excellence Award, Dubai. Nov 2018. And recently awarded the “Iconic Leadership” Award in the presence of Hon’ble Governor of Maharashtra, Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari.
